Cornwall with Sykes Cottages

Cornwall with Sykes Cottages
-This post is in collaboration with Sykes Cottages-

Last week we packed our bags and made the way down to Cornwall with Sykes Cottages, one of our most favourite places- for both human and hound.

Spending a week with Sykes Cottages on the North coast of Cornwall, enjoying the sunshine and dog friendly beaches that Cornwall has to offer.
No doubt Cornwall is one of the most dog friendly places to visit, with most places allowing dogs to join in cafes, pubs, beaches and more.

Our apartment for the week was based in Newquay, a short walk from dog friendly Fistral beach and close enough to the town. Although our time was spent exploring other beaches and finding wonderful places to eat, explore and visit.

The sweet apartment in Cornwall with Sykes Cottages had such lovely interior, with such a a retro dream, easily comfortable for two people and two dogs.

Hollywell Bay is a gorgeous and large beach that is dog friendly. Over the sand dunes you find a great beach for running and swimming with the pooch. Surf hire can be found on the beach and a pub close by.

The Gannel is an estuary off of Crantock beach. Dog friendly and a stunning sandy beach that became our favourite place to visit for an evening swim.
Also a great place to paddle board with the dogs dogs, with many people kayaking and having a paddle when the tide came in.

Woof Wednesday is a great lunch time treat for your dog to the doggy menu, the proceeds go to a local animal charity. As well as this Friday and Sunday is a rum and Pizza night, which we can't wait to try out on the next trip.

  1. Your dogs are absolutely beautiful! I'd much rather go swimming with pooches than dolphins on holiday haha. It's great to hear that Cornwall is so dog friendly, I've only ever been for a couple of quick weekend trips but it'd be nice to go for a longer trip with the whole family xxx
