Top 3 Dog Friendly Holidays

Over the last few years we have really stepped up the dog friendly travel, getting to know parts of the UK as well as reviewing and trying out dog friendly holidays and where to visit.
Since the blog has gone even more dog friendly, and Lily has joined the family, this has stepped up a notch and I'm always searching for dog friendly holidays to try book.

Dog friendly holidays and travel has become more and more popular, and taking your dog away with you is something that has become the normal thing, with even more dog friendly properties becoming available.

Staying at some wonderful places, from a range of dogs allowed, all the way to mind blowing dog friendly. Holidaying with Sev and Lily is so much fun and something we can't wait to do more of this year.

Bodhi's Beach Hut: Cornwall
The dream of all dreams! This stunning one bed cottage in Cornwall was the perfect New Year and Birthday stay. The interior was utterly beautiful, the log burner was great to warm up after wintery beach dog walks and it was generally a lovely place to visit.
Sadly Sev wasn't allowed in the bedroom, but they did have a good size garden that was fully enclosed.

The Fish Hotel: The Cotswolds
Another lovely dog friendly holiday, that we stayed at not long after Lily joined us. Based on the Farncombe Estate (the other hotels are on our wishlist too). The lounge bar area was amazing and very large, with both lounge tables and normal height tables- perfect for both our afternoon tea and breakfast the next morning. Not being allowed in the restaurant area really wasn't a problem with the gorgeous seating, fire and cosy feel of the bar area that the dogs were very welcomed in.
The rooms were small but gorgeous and at the back of our block of rooms was an awesome field that the dogs could be let off in.
For a hotel, this probably has been our most welcomed and best dog friendly stay to date.

Brecon Retreat: Wales
Another dreamy self catering place we found earlier in the year, the lodge (Sound of the Stream) is truly beautiful. A hot tub, log burner and super lovely bath ticked most boxes.
Although they didn't have much grass area by the lodge, it was enough for the dogs to do what they had to. There was a great and easy walk up the hill to get the dogs out and about after our days exploring and before prosecco in the hot tub.
Set over a beautiful stream with lovely interiors and even a doggy welcome box and bed for them to use, a dog friendly holiday dream, for sure.

More recently we also visited the luxury house (Sound of the River), just over the road, that sleeps 8 people.
The garden is wonderfully big and has agility equipment and an outside fenced area for your pooch too. The interior is nothing but perfect  but still has a wonderful homely feeling about it too. Both house and lodge are wonderful for a dog friendly luxury pet-away.
