Bucket List Ideas for Canine Friends

I recently saw this blog post about awesome ideas for a dog bucket list, I thought it was so fun and although maybe a little silly, I loved ticking off the ones Sev and Lily have done.
They're pretty well travelled pooches, and we are always keen for a new adventure to find all the best dog friendly places and things for our pets.

Eat a Gourmet Meal
We recently visited the Bluebird Cafe in Chelsea, while they had their "Bites and Bones" brunch on. The dogs got to enjoy a 3 course meal (shared) a long with a doggy beer too

Have a Birthday Party
We have celebrated both Sev's 1st and 2nd Birthdays with parties, something we'll no doubt carry on with. I'm also really excited to get pink and pretty for Lily's First Birthday in November too.
This year we celebrated Alfie's 11th Birthday, after his Tenth flying by, I wanted to treat my big baby to something special. He didn't love the balloons, but the cake was thoroughly enjoyed by all the pooches.

Ride in a Convertible
My Mum had a convertible car when we first got Severus, and it was a little bit too much fun not to let his ears hang lose and have the wind in his hair. He loves sticking his head out the window, and no doubt felt like a super cool dude in his 'sports car'

Star in a Doggy Calendar
This year my work wanted to raise money for a few animal charities, and so we decided to produce a calendar. We used our clients and staff animals, and although Sev didn't feature in it, he did make cover star.

Take a Walk Along the Beach
All our dogs [Alfie and Tilly included] are lucky enough to have visited some gorgeous beaches in their time. Lily has been to three, in her short 5 months, and my parents are always booking dog friendly Cornwall getaways

Go on a Picnic
Sam and I don't actually go on to many picnics, but last year we visited the Cotswold's and thought it would be a great day to have one...and of course Sev was with us so he joined in the fun too. [Blog post here]

Be a Dog Treat Taste Tester
Stephanie Dreams has no doubt turned mainly into a dog blog, which I totally love and adore [whilst still keeping in touch with every day lifestyle and my Disney love] because of that the majority of emails that come through are actually for Sev and Lily. Meaning they get to test out and try a whole lots of goodies. Recently we got invited to Shake Shack to try their dog menu, and the pooch-ini was a canine delight!

Stay at a Luxury Pet Friendly Hotel
I love a little bit of luxury, there are so many gorgeous hotels around that seem to be realising that us crazy dog parents want to spend the Weekend away, with their pooches. No doubt the best dog friendly place we've stayed is The Fish Hotel, we want to book another trip already

Meet Online Friends
Having joined the dog friendly online community on Instagram and Twitter, I can say it's so lovely, inviting and such a support. The engagement the dogs get is crazy [compared to mine] and I feel like dog owners and brands feel just as loving and crazy as I do, towards our pooches. I've had the pleasure of meeting Alfie Bear and his Mum, a couple of times now. Emma is someone I'm rather pleased I have in my life for the chatter and wine drinking, and as Alfie is a spaniel too, he fits right in.

Enjoy a Doggy Ice Cream
The joy I get when I see cafes or pet shops have dog ice cream, makes me so so happy. When we visited Mudeford both cafe's had the Billy and Margot ice cream to buy, so the pooches could enjoy them on the beach too

Visit Landmarks
Sight seeing is a must when we visit London, and there certainly are dog friendly places to visit and things to do with your pooches in the Big City. We visited London last month and got to see landmarks such as Big Ben, The London Eye and Tower Bridge

I'd love to know what you've ticked of your canine bucket list or other ideas you may have to add to it.
Severus and Lily are on instagram too, so remember to follow their adventures over there.
