I love a holiday, however big or small the getaway, it is just lovely to get away from everything now & again. Sam and I had some holiday to use, so we decided we'd treat the Alfie & Tilly to a little trip to Cornwall....I swear the dogs get more holidays than we do!

Our base was in Cadgwith, a sleep fisherman's village on the Lizard peninsula. We stayed at a lovely little holiday let, dog friendly and generally perfect in every way. We traveled around Cornwall, visiting Penzance, Praa Sands, St Ives and Padstow (to name a few.) Alfie and Tilly enjoyed the long sandy beaches, chasing balls in and out of the sea until their hearts content. The evenings were full of drinking wine, eating yummy food and enjoying the early nights.
On Thursday we met up with Megan and Sophie (& the boys) for a day trip to St Ives, which was just wonderful ♥ It's a place I have never been before, but I hope to go back again soon. The shone for us all day, the dogs played on the beach and we enjoyed ice creams and Cornish cream tea.
The week ran away with us, and soon it was home time. Looking back through lovely photos and getting excited about the next getaway.

Happy Easter everybody, eat lots of chocolate & be merry.
