A Day at Warwick Castle

Growing up, I never thought I'd end up being the type of person to enjoy chilly Sunday walks, wrapped up in a cosy scarf and hat. Accompanied by my love, and my woofers, but this is truly the dream Weekend. Mix in a roast, some wine or mulled cider, and a burning candle...my life is literally complete.

When we got the chance to spend a day some where lovely, thanks to Superbreak, I quickly jumped at the idea of visiting the gorgeous Warwick Castle. I haven't been there since a child at school, and since then have heard lots of wonderful things about it. We were very lucky to have a wonderful Autumnal day for it, the skies were blue (most of the day) and it had a chill in the air without being freezing.

Warwick Castle has a huge amount to offer, as well as holding special events over Summer and Winter time. We really just loved walking around the stunning building, and grounds, taking photos where ever I went. We also stopped by for a Carvery, which was fabulous, and much needed on a Sunday afternoon. I think it's great to have in the grounds, and it refueled our energy, ready for the last walk around the pretty peacock garden.

You can buy Warwick Castle tickets through Superbreak, and even make a full Weekend of it and stay somewhere lovely to really treat yourselves.
Next on my list for attractions is Disneyland Paris....so nothing has changed there, then!

Have you been to Warwick Castle or other English beauties?

  3. Sounds like a perfect weekend and you look snug as a bug in those layers! Nothing like a good cold autumn walk, as long as you can get warm with a film and hot chocolate when you get home :) xxx

  7. Warwick Castle now just reminds me of the evil Lord Warwick from the White Queen TV programme!! It looks lovely though - really pretty at this time of year.

  10. Such lovely photos Steph, glad you both had a great day there. A Sunday walk in beautiful surroundings is my kind of Sunday now too, although I used to kick up a right fuss when we were forced to go on them when I was little! Xx
