Cake stand from Out There Interiors*

This weather is so special, I love the sun and getting out to enjoy it is just lovely. Being stuck in work all day, looking out onto the blue skies can be a little sad, and so when I get home I need to make the most of the sunny blue skies ♥

Thursday called for something a little different, we treated our self to some yummy Marks and Spencer food, and made a little picnic in our garden, over looking the pretty canal.
Crisps, scones & cream, cupcakes and cloudy lemonade were all on offer  We also had the yummiest chicken breast with the creamiest potatoe salad and coleslaw....literally get in my belly.
With some pretty jars, paper straws, picnic hamper and cake stand we had a picnic fit for a King (or Sam and Steph). This stand is one that I've been eyeing up for so long, I think it's the prettiest thing and when I get my pastel kitchen (which will happen) it will go amazingly. Full of cakes and goodies, and it looks even better!

A picnic is obviously not complete without a pretty dress and flowers in your hair.
The amazingly cute dress, is so sweet for this time of year, but can easily be layered up for the colder weather too. I love the little lamb and flower print, and the collar and pleats just make it a fabulous "throw on" dress.
I decided to team it with my new 3/4 wig, not quite the colour match, but I thought the two toned hair worked well. All the gingers possible! Having orange hair can be a bit tricky some times, but I think I just go with it and I am happy with how it turns out. I am lusting after their festival hair inspiration, please let me have lilac hair. If you've not tried wigs or hair pieces before, Wonderland Wigs is one to have a browse through. They have so many products to chose from, all the colours and styles you could dream of.

I definitely need to take it with me for a picnic, and I think I'm going to use it as a nail varnish holder until I use it for a party again!
