Harvey Nichols, Bristol.

Tuesday, 9 April 2013

My Saturday morning was full of treats and special bloggers, I was invited to a wonderful blogging event hosted by Harvey Nichols in their Bristol store.
Greeted with champagne (at 11am, it was perfectly acceptable- so I keep telling myself) and friendly faces in the "personal shopping" area. Daniel, head of women's wear at the store, showed us through the key trends and pieces for this season. I was dribbling through out, and ooo'd and aaaa'd through the whole talk ♥

No doubt my favourite trend of this season is no limit prints. The amazing dresses and two-piece outfits on sale were just wonderful, perfect for all most all occasions. White out, pop of colour and also monochrome also are the trends I'll be trying to wear. I could have listened to Daniel all day, you could tell he was so passionate about his job and knew his thing so well!

We then made our way down to the shop floor, each having an amazing three treatments each. My first was at the amazing Creme De Le Mer, for a facial. This wasn't a brand I'd heard of before (please don't shoot me) but the wonderful lady was hugely informative of the products and history, and after my skin feeling hugely hydrated and refreshed, I had a huge wishlist of wonderful products to lust after.

I went on to have a Benefit "make over". I love the brand, and feel I keep up to date with most of the products, however I was happy for the MUA to work her magic and I loved hearing what she had to say about how to use the products to benefit me the best. The new Fake Up concealer is literally amazing, I am a keen bo-ing(er) but I think I have found my new love, especially for my awful dark eyes.

Last but not least I popped over to have my nails pampered but the lovely Hannah. I was introduced to "Red Carpet Nails", where you can do your own gels, at home. I picked a stunning orangey colour, and still can't stop looking at my nails.

If you're in the South West area then Harvey Nichols is worth following on Twitter to keep up with the events they have for bloggers, and generally in store. I felt so welcomed and enjoyed our morning so much, it was lovely to of felt special. Thank you Harvey Nics, Bristol.
