Don't Look Twice...

Tuesday, 1 March 2011

This weekend, me & the boy celebrated 3 years together, so for a treat we had a little trip to London. I spent so much money, got rained on hard, and couldn't feel my hands or feet for a few hours, however I had such a lovely weekend- I love get a ways, just me & him.
I did briefly 'pop out' to the Witch Skin care event, I will be posting about it, but it was a great few hours spent with some lovely bloggers, drinking delightful champagne & eating yummy pizza

♥ Madam Tussuads, Piccadilly Circus, Harrods, Krispy Kreme, Camden, Posers &hearts

I loved Camden, and even though it was rammed I'd still like to go back on a less wet day! We got soaked. I found a gorgeous ring & necklace at the market, so will try & feature them in a post soon. I also had a little trip to Primark (a must surely) They have some gorgeous items in at the moment, and really got me into the spring/summer mood- not that I had to be pushed at all. Harrods was immense, as one can expect. They sell puppies though, like how? A shop selling dogs, frickin' cute pups, but still- is that legal! Madam Tussauds was fine, and just fine. We had 2-4-1 entry, if we didn't the prices are stupid, and you're only in there for 2hours or so, so a lot of money for so little time I think. I'm glad we went, but I won't be going again, for a long long time at least.
I never know how to dress on days out like these, I decided to go for my blazer & also had my parker at hand when the skies decided to open. I also wore my new H&M leggings on that Saturday, I adore them, but found them hard to style. Black seemed to be the colour that was the obvious choice- as it goes with everything, and I also wanted something baggy & easy to wear. Snood & boots topped my Saturday outfit off, and I was ready to go. Have now decided I HATE my Saturday night outfit, and my crusty face as well, it's a shame as I used to love the dress, but no! YUK!

However Sundays outfit I really thought was a cute, a long + size shirt from H&M, belted up with boots & blazers. I thought it was simple and easy, but really effective, to show at least some effort was involved. My hair ended up going into a top knot most of the weekend, with the rain&wind it was a total night mare, so I opted for the easy route.
I adore the scarf I teamed with it, it's from Newlook & was rather pricey, but I just love the floral detail of it.  I also paraded my Wallpaper Rose necklace for the first time, while purchasing the Jen Thsirt, I thought I might as well buy one of the necklaces, as they are just to die for. After much thought, I decided on this beaut & she is lovely
I hope you all had lovely weekends with your Mr's, Mrs' or woofers ♥
