Hello Dears

I just thought I'd share a little bargin with you that I have recently picked up from Primark.

My friend Clare showed me a ring she got from Primark a few weeks ago, I totally fell in love and NEEDED it in my life. Unfortunately I couldn't see it in the Primarks I went to (Swindon, Leeds & Bristol). When I was in Leeds I however found a more expensive alternative and knowing the Primark one wasn't meant to be mine, I purchased it. Skip forward a week and another friend tells me the rings are in the Swindon store again *cheers!* So I rushed down there and picked one up (well two actually as Sinead wanted one as well).
I refunded the River Island one and all is happy again for me :)

I actually prefer the Primark one, but the price obvouisly helped too :)
What are your thoughts on Primark? Would you rather pay more for quality or are you happy to pick up key trends that won't last very long in there?
I personally ♥ Primark

  2. I have that Primark one too, I think it's gorgeous! I prefer Primark for costume jewellery, it's probably made in the same factory as topshop stuff sometimes!

  5. I love Primark, they always have similar jewellery to Topshop and River Island for a tiny price! I got a bangle from Primark for £1.50 which was exactly like one from Topshop which was £8! They always have pieces that look so much more expensive too.
    xx

  6. Hey sweetie, I am graduating from Fashion Buying in uni in a couple months and I can tell you that the quality between Primark and larger high street names are closer than you think ;) x

  8. I literally couldn't have allowed myself to buy the River Island ring, knowing that there was a Primark alternative!
I am a big fan of Primark - would much much rather have a few different items of costume jewellery, for the price of one thing elsewhere.
I would say I'm 'quantity over quality', but the quality of other shops is no better generally anyway!

  12. i think primark is great for jewellery and things. and to be honest they're probably all made in the same way so you may be paying more for river island or topshop but it's not quality you're paying for! good choice on the ring it's lovely :)

  13. I always find that most of the high street shops have virtually identical jewellery in them, some of them I swear are exactly the same just very differently priced! Definately prefer cheaper costume jewellery!

  14. I'm so jealous that everyone can buy rings from Primark. The only place I can buy rings from (costume jewellry ones anways) is Accessorize, because they're the only place that make them small enough. Everywhere else, even size 'Small' falls off my fingers.

    :(

I hardly buy jewellery anywhere else to be quite honest :) Love the ring it's gorgeous, I'm loving all the mint jewellery primark has in atm! P.S. 17. The Primark one is SO much prettier! And I wish we had Primarks in the US. I'm so jealous of the finds you get there!

  18. you can find some great items in primark don't get me wrong but my issue with it is that all of the irritating young girls in my city shop there and wear the same things as each other.

ignoring that annoyance i actually prefer the river island ring because it's softer, more round and has prettier detailing :) xx

  19. LOVE Primark but we don't have one in Edinburgh :( I have to say I'm a cheap and cheerful/ quantity or quality! Am sure that's against all the rules but it makes me happy, so no harm.

  25. If the item is the exact same I would go with the cheaper one but I generally would rather pay for quality :)

From reading the comments I think I am alone in that I don't like Primark!

In my opinion the quality is poor....its just throwaway fashion everyone and their gran wears.

I mean its okay for picking up some PJ's, socks etc but definitely NOT an actual complete outfit.

I hate seeing 1,000,000 people wearing the same outfit as me especially when 95% of those people are scummy chav's :P Ha ha im a snob I admit :)

    xo
